Yaengsaeng Xayavong

YAENGSAENG XAYAVONG is the director of facilities management for Bayer’s Berkeley site. Her work ranges from planning for what “next normal” looks like for office-based personnel to ensuring the smooth operation of all buildings on site as well as cafeteria and ground services. She is also an active member of our site inclusion and diversity business council. Xayavong has been with Bayer for more than fifteen years – starting first as a production technician in protein therapy manufacturing and moving through roles of increasing responsibility, in both manufacturing and quality, before taking on leadership of the facilities team in January 2020. She received her BS in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles.
