How to Participate in the March 4th Virtual Conference


This year’s Conference will take place entirely online. Click the button below to access the virtual Conference environment:



Log in today using the email address with which you originally registered,* to complete your attendee profile and ensure that your browser is set up for success with the Conference environment.

Your attendee profile is similar to your badge at one of our in-person events, but with enhanced functionality. Share as much or as little information on your profile as you like, but please keep in mind that this information will be visible to other attendees (minus your email address), and any exhibitors you choose to share with (including your email).

*Do not share your login information with anyone. If two people log in using your email at the same time, both will be expelled from the virtual environment. Please note that the login is case-sensitive.


The full Conference experience will be available starting at 8:00 a.m. PST on Thursday, March 4th. But we encourage you to click the link above, run a System Check, and make sure you’re happy with your attendee profile now.

You will use this same URL and email address to log in throughout the week, as live and on-demand programming continues through March 31st.

Understanding the Schedule


The virtual Conference consists of two keynote sessions, three periods of expert-led breakout sessions, and a virtual Exhibit Hall. All times Pacific.
• Keynote sessions—featuring Stacey Abrams & Lisa Ling, Ursula Burns & Jennifer Siebel Newsom, Dr. Jane Goodall & Alicia Menendez, and Angie Thomas—will debut on Thursday, March 4th, at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
• Expert-led breakout sessions, followed by live speaker Q&A, will air at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 1:10 p.m. on March 4th.

After they debut, sessions will be available to replay on-demand until Wednesday, March 31st at midnight.
• The Virtual Exhibit Hall opens at 8:00am on March 4th, and will remain available through the 31st. Be sure to visit early to take advantage of free career services and facilitated networking!

Our virtual Conference environment was designed for ease of use, and to replicate the experience of an in-person Conference for Women.

But because the virtual version will be new to everyone, we created this short video tour to help you get around on March 4th & beyond.


Maximize Your Career at the Conference


The California Conference for Women provides multiple opportunities to enhance your career skills and position yourself for advancement. Stop by this year’s virtual Career Pavilion, sponsored by Gilead, to:

Connect with companies looking to hire women like you during a Virtual Career Fair from 8:00–9:00 a.m. and 3:00–5:00 p.m. on Conference Day. Companies hiring can be found throughout the Career Pavilion as well as the Health & Wellness Pavilion presented by Hologic, the Technology Pavilion presented by Google, and the Community + Learning Pavilion, sponsored by Juniper Networks.

• Sign up for 1:1 Résumé Review and Career Coaching. Sessions will take place via videoconference. Appointments are limited and first-come, first-served, so be sure to visit the Career Pavilion early on March 4th if this is a priority for you! Sign-up begins at 8:00 a.m. PST.

• Spend some time soaking up expert advice in the Career Resources Booth. You’ll find a curated collection of articles, podcasts, and book recommendations to help you level up your career—or land a new job.

• Visit the Learning Burst Stage for a number of Career-focused mini sessions. 


How to Network at a Virtual Event


Because connection is more important than ever these days, we’ve put together several networking opportunities for virtual attendees, as well as a Virtual Networking Guide to help you make the most of your Conference day. Thanks to our Official Networking Sponsor Cisco for underwriting these efforts!

Opportunities include:

• Facilitated networking discussions via live videoconference on March 4th. (Sign up in the Cisco Networking Lounge starting at 8am – space is limited, so register early!)

• Peer networking chat groups, organized by topic and available in the Lounge.

• Public session chats, allowing attendees to communicate with one another while watching keynote and expert-led breakout sessions.

• Private and group messaging available from every room in the virtual conference environment.

• Exhibitor Office Hours and the Virtual Career Fair, where you can network with companies in real-time. (Office hours March 4 from 8am-5pm; Career Fair hours March 4 from 8-9am & 3-5pm.)

• Connect with hiring companies throughout the Pavilions during the Virtual Career Fair from 8:00–9:00 a.m. and 3:00–5:00 p.m. on March 4th.

• Browse the Conference Bookstore sponsored by Silicon Valley Bank, where you will find exclusive book readings and find free shipping on speakers’ books.


After the Conference


In honor of Women’s History Month, this year’s sessions will be available to replay on-demand until Wednesday, March 31st at midnight. Many Exhibit Hall offerings—including booths with interactive office hours, speaker learning bursts, author book readings and more—will be available on demand through March 31st as well.
